Looking forward to speaking on David Horrigan’s eDiscovery State of the Union panel at RelFest 2026. Book a time slot here to brief me on your latest offerings, talk eDiscovery or pick my brain about case challenges. With my return to coordinating cases for clients and partners I am focused on leveraging AI upstream and in review to maximize value and minimize ‘time to truth’ (i.e. case resolution). Clients have been struggling with transitioning their traditional eDiscovery workflows to aiR from start thru trial. Smart corporate counsel are asking for support to validate the quality and quantify the potential savings that make the adoption effort worthwhile.

I am lucky to have recent linear review matters in RelativityOne to test. So far, every case study has quickly demonstrated the value (and limitations) of AI. It is not a magic relevance button, but it can be an amazingly fast tool in your toolbox. The trick is using them for the right task and knowing all the exceptions to work around. These tools will reduce the billable hours and grunt work associated with 1st pass review, scope definition and organizing your collections. That makes many retained counsel and providers adoption resistant. The savvy players embrace AI to maximize the value of their expertise and counsel. If this challenge resonates with you or your clients, let’s talk shop in Chicago or before.
