I came across this article by Greg Lawn and I thought to myself; in the likes of what’s going on around the world. Disaster is no longer a taboo word but to certain extend something that is bound to happen. If it’s bound to happen, how do we avoid or in worst case mitigate risks from a disaster?

And in the context of eDiscovery, Greg Lawn’s article suggests a few practical measures as readiness or preparation steps in the preservation of data in the event of litigation.

Readiness is definitely a plus point when dealing with potential disaster; however an organisation needs to realise that there are three main aspects of eDiscovery - People, Technology and Process that needs to co-exist and function in harmony to effectively avoid eDiscovery disaster.
